Director of Transport
Purpose:
the Director of Transport provides strategic leadership and oversight for the transport department, ensuring its operations align with the company's goals.
Responsibilities:
Oversee department operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Monitor active transport jobs, resolving issues beyond the Transport Manager's scope.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure resources meet project deadlines.
Manage key projects and delegate tasks to the Transport Manager.
Approve estimates, staffing, and timelines; escalate decisions for high-value projects.
Coordinate with Production and Project Management on project schedules.
Lead team, ensuring adherence to safety standards and fostering teamwork.
Handle client relations, including escalations and tough inquiries.
collaborate with HR on Hiring, Oversee training and Conduct performance Reviews.
Approve overtime, PTO, and departmental changes.
Maintain compliance with USDOT regulations and safety practices.

Transport Manager
Purpose
the Transport Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the transport department, ensuring that transport jobs are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
Plan and manage active transport jobs, ensuring all details (locations, schedules, packing, etc.) are complete.
Coordinate logistics, including truck routes, staffing, and material needs.
Create estimates and invoices for jobs, liaising with clients and the Accounting Dept.
Manage drivers and adjust routes as client needs change.
Handle client communication, insurance documentation, and job updates.
Oversee the maintenance and leasing of trucks, ensuring repairs and compliance.
Provide orientation and training for newly hired transport staff.

Transport Assistant Manager
Purpose
the Assistant Transport Manager supports the Transport Manager in overseeing daily transport operations and to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Ensure safe handling of artworks during transit and on-site projects.
Assist Transport Manager in daily job management and troubleshooting.
Lead teams on-site, providing real-time feedback and problem-solving.
Assist in training staff and conducting site assessments for new jobs.
Fill in for Transport Manager as needed and act as client liaison.

Senior Art Handler/Driver
Purpose
The Senior Art Handler/Driver ensures the safe handling, packing, transport, and installation of artworks and other valuable items.
Responsibilities:
Safely handle and transport artwork, ensuring proper packing and installation.
Lead on-site teams, guiding junior staff on best practices.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring object safety.
Complete bills of lading and condition reports using company tools.
Maintain vehicles and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Art Handler/Driver
Purpose
the Art Handler/Driver safely transports, handles, packs, and installs artworks and other valuable items during pickups, deliveries, and installations.
Responsibilities:
Safely handle and transport artwork, assisting with packing and installation.
Load and unload trucks under the guidance of the Transport Manager or Senior Art Handler.
Complete bills of lading and condition reports.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and perform basic vehicle upkeep.
